On this occasion we needed to replace the obsolete light in the bathroom for a new LED light. As this was for a tenant we needed this done asap and the engineer arrived as arranged two days later (it happened at the weekend!) and efficiently replaced the light leaving no mess whatsoever. The engineer did discover that the electrical inspection was due so that has been booked too. We have used this company many times and they are the go to electricians of choice, helpful, reliable and efficient.

We required a solar meter replaced and Excel were contacted and we immediately received a quote and they agreed to fit it as soon as the meter was received from the suppliers. Everything was completed within one week and my solar panels output was immediately being shown.
No money was required upfront but after the work was complete together with additional work at my MILs bungalow the invoice was emailed to me and paid immediately.
Now that is what I call five star service done by friendly workers.

We asked Excel Electrical to quote for an electric radiator change in an apartment. Specifically, to improve efficiency and to provide total control in each room zone, remotely.
Jason was very prompt in his communication and in attending to quote. I clearly understood the options and costs up front.
The electricians who attended to fit the items were very pleasant and worked hard. At the conclusion, they assisted me in connecting the installations to a mobile phone App. All works really well and it does indeed fit the brief I set. Of course, it is really difficult for me to assess product reliability or support, and I hope I don’t need to test it! The final invoice was exactly what was quoted. Great job, and I would recommend Excel Electrical Service LTD. Thank you.

Moving and installing a new fuse box ( consumer unit) and compete re – wiring property to make safe. Additionally installing smoke alarms, outside light, loft lighting and ventilation extractor fan in shower room.

Jason was clear with the initial estimate and provided good detail about the work required and then to enlarge this when the poor condition of all of the electrical wiring was detected. Matt could not have been more helpful and explained things to me at every stage. The team always arrived as arranged and worked alongside other trades to ensure all work was progressing.

I am happy to recommend these electricians and will use again for any further electrical work required.

EXCELLENT ELECTRICIANS Excel Electrical are efficient, thorough and a pleasure to work with. I have now had Excel in for two different problems and they really do excel-lent work. In the first case they came andsolved a problem in very short period of time and without fuss. The second problem was bigger, solving a fault and adjusting a humidistat fan. Again, they worked without fuss, quietly and quickly. What impressed me the most was that the electrician actually spent time testing to make sure he had got the setting on the humidistat fan right. They are real professionals

Please accept my gratitude for the recent work you carried out in the home of my family.  It is clear & obvious that you are professional, efficient and extremely quick at responding.  However, there are two key areas that set you apart from the rest of the service industry, whether trades or otherwise.

Firstly, you do exactly what you say you’ll do.  A simple premise, yet rarer than an electric car that actually matches the range it advertises.  This inspires trust from your customers & from those who gladly recommend you.

In addition, the personable service you provide is exceptional.  Upon your last visit to my family’s home, you may recall my mother’s enthusiasm at how friendly, professional & knowledgeable you were.  This is always a great stamp of approval.  However, I was not expecting to hear the same rhetoric from my father whose interest in these matters usually extends only to the financial cost of any work being carried out (this was also not even mentioned so I assume he felt more than reasonable!)

I wish there were more companies like this one.

I can’t recommend Excel Electrical highly enough. From initial quoting to organising the OLEV grant for our electric charger Jason, Michelle and the team were so polite, professional and helpful. They’ve done a really neat job and I was impressed by the amount of attention they put into putting protective sheeting down on the floors before starting work and how tidy they left everything. When the delivery time of our new tempering machines was suddenly changed from 3 weeks to 3 days making the need for our additional 13 amp sockets a matter of urgency, you responded brilliantly by installing them the morning after the machinery was delivered. Not only did you turn up early to avoid disrupting the shop and kitchen during opening hours, you completed the job quickly enabling us to get a full days production from the new machines on their first date at ThePod. The site was left clean and tidy and the cost was very reasonable. Excel carried out a complete rewire of our parish church, in addition to which they installed four overhead heaters. Outside Lights  – This is the second time that we have used Excel Electrical Services and, as with the first, we were delighted with all aspects of the work carried out. We asked if you could improve the lighting in the offices and move electrical sockets and data points to facilitate the installation of significant glass partitioning in the offices.

Excel’s service is the best I have experienced. The two electricians sent by Excel were excellent in every respect. They listened to my needs, respected my house were efficient and went out of their way to solve the problems of the job that others had failed to do. I have used Excel before and their service is the best I have experienced. The best thing about them is that they treat your house as if it were their own running cables where they are unseen, matching devices to existing and cleaning up so that you wouldn’t know they’d been. I would recommend them every time.

First Class Service

Excel scoped out the work required, quoted, and the chaps turned up with all parts required. They didn’t disappear off to other jobs, or have to run out to get extra parts. No fuss, no dramas. Our previous electricians have become known as Jc because they only ever did half a job. Very happy.

Excel Electrical fitted a Zappi EV charge unit and upgraded the electrical supply from the grid and advised on the work bearing in mind our decision to fit solar panels. Both the advice and quality of work was satisfactory and I have no hesitation of recommending this company for electrical works.

We needed a few alterations to switches, new installation in bathroom, and light fixed in loft.
all done very successfully. Cheerful young men who knew the job and got on with it.

Fitted and connected lights to new brick gate piers and linked them to other existing lights on a timer on this job. Used many times for many things large and small – always excellent

A very friendly and skilful young man called Joe came from Excel and upgraded the sockets where our cookers are plugged in. Quick, no mess, and I would without hesitation use Excel again

Jason did his magic again when I had an emergency with my lounge night storage heater.  He arrived with a smile, got to work and solved the problem within an hour, no mess all clean and tidy.  I have used Excel Electrical Services for many years now, always been pleased with the service, would recommend.
